Hi, I’m Wesley Silva, a Software Engineer based in Ireland.
I enjoy building things, solving problems, and turning ideas into real, useful products. Over the past few years, I’ve gained hands-on experience through freelance work and personal projects, working across both frontend and backend development.
My main stack includes Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, React, Next.js, and TypeScript. I enjoy working across the whole stack — from designing APIs and database structures to creating clean, responsive interfaces.
One of the projects I’m most proud of is bAppoint, a multi-tenant SaaS appointment management platform that I designed and built from the ground up. Working on it has pushed me to learn more about backend architecture, authentication, payments, webhooks, idempotency, database design, and building systems that solve real business problems.
I’m naturally curious and enjoy understanding how things work, not just making them work. I’m always learning, experimenting with new technologies, and looking for better ways to build software.
I’m currently studying Software Engineering, where I’m strengthening my foundations in programming, databases, software architecture, and engineering practices.
I’m looking for opportunities where I can contribute, learn from experienced developers, take on challenging problems, and continue growing as a Software Engineer.
